Cocktail style

This is becoming a very popular style for wedding receptions, as you can mingle and enjoy the company of your guests in a relaxed way.

We offer a wide range of hot and cold finger foods for you to enjoy throughout the night.

And we can guarantee all guests will be full and satisfied by the end of the night.

What we offer

We cater specifically for the needs of our customer and their guests. Our specialty is our offsite catering, which has been developed from a customer base requiring something different when it comes to catering for their functions.

We provide our own cooking equipment (gas operated), trestles for preparation and set up of the food service area.

If we are catering in a hall/at a house, we seek permission to use the available kitchen and cooking equipment (ovens). We will assure you if we use your kitchen we will return it to the state we found it, we clear away our own rubbish, sweep and mop the area & sanitise benches.

We can cater for any dietary requirement including, coeliac, vegetarian, vegan, dairy allergies, nut allergies, etc.

Our meal option

Formal seated meals

• 2 course
• 3 course
• Finger food followed by 2 courses
• Finger food followed by 3 courses

The finger food can be incorporated as part of your entrée or served as canapés to start your function, then move to the tables for your meals.

Cake option

We can cut and serve your wedding cake with double cream and fresh fruit for $2.50 per person.

This can be served as dessert or as an extra course afterwards.

Quoting your function

Once you have determined the style of function you would like and after discussion with you, we will put a menu together including a cost per person. You will receive a copy of your draft menu; we will ask you to offer any suggestions and will adjust it to suit, until you are happy with it.

We will then ask that you confirm your booking with us as soon as possible after receiving your finalised menu. This will guarantee you a priority booking. Once you have confirmed your booking and menu, we will send you a finalised copy for you to keep.

Casual buffet-style

With the buffet style of service, we offer quality meat dishes, roasted seasonal vegetables, gourmet salads, selection of house-made condiments to match and fresh Higgins bread and a range of mouth-watering dessert served with double cream and fresh fruit.

Once again, you can choose to have the finger foods served in the gardens while photographs are being taken or provided once the bride and groom are announced and welcomed to their wedding reception.

This option can also be served as share platters on tables.

Running times

Timing is an important part of catering for your special day. We have put together a timeline template to help guide you when deciding on a catering package.

For all options we allow 45 minutes – 1 hour between each course; this allows for serving and clearing and resetting for the next course.

Cocktail style service will be served within a 3 - 4 hour time frame, unless otherwise advised.

We are very flexible with this, as all parties need to be happy with the flow and timing of your function.

We will work with you throughout the planning of your function and compile a running sheet for the day. You will be given a copy of the finalised running sheet for your reference.

Terms and conditions

Tentative bookings

On your initial inquiry, we will hold the date as a temporary booking for you. If we happen to get a second inquiry on the same date, you will be given first preference. We will contact you for confirmation at this stage.

We encourage all bookings to confirm as soon as they decide on a date, to ensure availability of the date chosen.

Final details

We ask that you finalise your menu 3 weeks prior to your function date.


We ask that on confirmation of numbers and menu, a deposit of 10% of the total is to be paid. This will be deducted from your final function payment on the day of the event. If in the event of damage, the deposit will be held to cover damage.


The prices are in line with the current market prices for food and beverage supplies at the time of quotation, and may be subject to change if market prices increase dramatically. If this should happen, we will inform you and work with you to find menu substitutes and inform you of the price increase, in writing.


All guest under the age of 18 or who may look under the age of 18, will be asked for ID. They must be under adult supervision while attending a function at our venue. If they are found to be consuming alcohol, they will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
